Photoproject “I met you in Montenegro”

This is a black-and-white documentary photo project about the people I met in my new reality—a reality that divided my life into “before” and “after” 2022. In 2025, I moved to Montenegro. Here, among people who had experienced a break with their former lives, the idea for this photo project was born. Every encounter is an exchange: we tell each other how we are rebuilding our lives, how we are integrating into a new place. Photography has become a way for me to capture these connections—the ones that arise in moments of conversation and trust. It is both a documentary and an artistic expression. Each photoportrait is a trace of a person and a trace of a meeting, like a link in a single chain. 

Ultimately, I plan to open a photo exhibition where the prints form a single installation, a visible embodiment of our interconnectedness.
